Jayson Tatum injury update: Celtics star ruled doubtful vs. Magic for Game 3
The first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs continues with Game 3 in the Eastern Conference between the Boston Celtics and the Orlando Magic on Friday. The Celtics are currently in a strong position, leading the best-of-seven series 2-0. However their star player, Jayson Tatum, is uncertain for Game 3 due to injury.

ORLANDO — Celtics forward Jayson Tatum returned to action Friday night. He missed Game 2 against the Magic with a right distal radius bone bruise. Coach Joe Mazzulla said before the game that Tatum was feeling better. Tatum, who was initially listed as doubtful, participated in pregame warmups before the team announced he was available.
The Boston Celtics will likely be without Jayson Tatum again for Friday night's Game 3 against the Magic in Orlando.
