So with the limited knowledge that we have of it being written, directed and having VFX from Takashi Yamazaki, here are three things that I definitely want to see (and two things that I definitely don’t want to see) from the next installment in the current Godzilla era. Oh, and minor SPOILERS up ahead for Godzilla Minus One.

It was recently announced that Godzilla Minus One writer and director Takashi Yamazaki is returning to direct another Godzilla movie for Toho. Well, it turns out the filmmaker was offered a lot of other directing gigs following the success of his first Godzilla movie,

Godzilla Minus One is available to stream and purchase both digitally and on physical Blu-ray and DVD releases now, and its black-and-white Minus Color re-release is now in theaters for a limited time to mark Godzilla’s 70th anniversary.

Following the record-shattering and award-winning success of Godzilla Minus One, Toho has greenlit another Godzilla film with writer, director, and VFX supervisor Takashi Yamazaki back at the helm.

A new Godzilla movie is officially in the works from Toho and the director of the massive hit Godzilla Minus One. The news came in a new post on social media from the official Godzilla movie X account.

Godzilla Minus One' was celebrated for its impressive effects, especially considering its modest $15 million budget. The film earned $116 million globally, making it the highest-grossing Japanese 'Godzilla' film to date.
