Marquan “Trey” Banks, 25, of Brookhaven, is charged with the shooting death of Jermaine Pierce, 37, in Norristown last weekend.

A Raleigh man was arrested Wednesday and charged with murder in a deadly shooting at his apartment complex. Joshua Reed Blackwell, 37, is accused of killing De’Antonio Orlando Mursuli, 33, on Dec. 23 at the Cedar Springs Apartments on Cedar Forest Way, according to a news release.

A juvenile has been charged in relation to a shooting on Hillcrest Avenue that killed a 16-year-old boy. The shooting happened on January 9, just before 4 p.m. When officers responded to the scene, they learned that a teenager had been taken to Lynchburg General Hospital with a gunshot wound.
