The Chicago Bears are retooling their offensive line, making two trades in less than 24 hours acquiring two former Pro Bowl linemen. The first of the two trades saw Chicago send a sixth-round pick to the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for offensive guard Jonah Jackson, a former Pro Bowl selection during his time with the Detroit Lions.
The Chicago Bears are trading for Los Angeles Rams guard Jonah Jackson, in exchange for a 2025 sixth-round pick, in an effort to shore up the interior offensive line after the team allowed a league-high 68 sacks.
Less than a year after signing Jonah Jackson to a $51 million contract, the Los Angeles Rams are moving on from the veteran lineman. News broke on Tuesday that the team is trading Jackson to the Chicago Bears in exchange for a sixth-round pick in the 2025 draft.
