Even though they migrated to the U.S. legally, many Haitians in Springfield, Ohio, fear President Trump’s promised migration crackdown will soon include them.

Just hours after the president’s inauguration, the immediate future suddenly looked far less secure for Haitian immigrants in the southwestern Ohio city.

Now he’s President, and members of Springfield’s Haitian immigrant community are afraid he will make an “example” out of them as he promises to carry out mass deportations across the country, Politico reports.
