A panel of judges on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit will consider whether President Trump must return control of California National Guard to Gov. Gavin Newsom.

The hearing comes after the appeals court granted a request by the Trump administration to temporarily pause a lower court order that directed control of the National Guard back to Governor Newsom.
