The largely peaceful protests during the "No Kings Day" demonstration in downtown Los Angeles took an intense turn in the afternoon. Police ordered the crowd to disperse at about 4:15 p.m. PDT near Alameda Street and Temple Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department's Central Division.
Social media platforms, collaborative online tools, and encrypted messaging are all helping to power a massive, decentralized resistance to the Trump administration.
Ana Navarro attended a "No Kings" protest over the weekend. The View cohost said she saw antagonists purposely "put in the crowd" to cause conflict. "Folks weren't with it and they did not engage," Navarro added.
