Brighton has signed one striker and loaned out another on the final day of the transfer window on the back of its heaviest ever Premier League defeat.

Brighton & Hove Albion are set to complete the signing of striker Stefanos Tzimas from FC Nurnberg. A fee of £20million with add-ons has been agreed and the 19-year-old has completed a medical. Brighton’s interest in Tzimas was reported by The Athletic in mid-January.

A couple days ago we wrote on how Spurs were reportedly interested in Greek striker Stefanos Tzimas from Bundesliga 2. side Nurnberg FC. That interest was despite the player being deep in negotiations with Brighton & Hove Albion for a permanent January transfer.
