The White House National Security Council is being restructured, weeks after Marco Rubio took over the powerful national security adviser role.

More than 100 staff members of the National Security Council were dismissed from their positions, according to reports, in a major overhaul.

President Trump is slashing half of the National Security Council (NSC) staff as part of a restructuring process under Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who is also serving as the acting national security adviser.
