Days after actor Shah Rukh Khan received a death threat, police have arrested the accused. Identified as Mohammad Faizan Khan, the man was arrested from him home in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Police said he is a lawyer. Faizan Khan called the actor and threatened to kill him if he did not pay Rs 50 lakh.

Faizan Khan, a 42-year-old lawyer from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, has been arrested by Mumbai police in connection with the death threat issued to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

Recently, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was threatened by a man who called at the landline number of Bandra Police Station at 1:20 PM on 5 November, demanding ransom of Rs. 50 lakh. When Mumbai Police traced the call, they found that the number had been registered in the name of Faizan Khan from Raipur.

Bollywood stars, including Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, are facing a surge in death threats and extortion attempts, raising concerns about the resurgence of underworld influence in the film industry.

Mumbai police have arrested a 24-year-old man for allegedly sending threatening messages to Bollywood actor Salman Khan. This is the second arrest in recent weeks related to threats against the actor.
