A Staten Island man was being held on charges that included manslaughter after speeding through a red light and mowing down the victims, the police said.

Two pedestrians were killed in a hit-and-run Friday morning in Brooklyn, police said. The incident happened around 4:22 a.m. in the area of 52nd Street and 3rd Avenue in Sunset Park.
