Ford is knocking down one of the largest hurdles to electric vehicle (EV) ownership. Starting October 1, with the purchase or lease of a Ford electric vehicle, customers are eligible to receive a complimentary Ford Charge Station Pro home charger and standard installation at their home.

Drivers who are looking to switch to an electric vehicle could receive a free charger at home from Ford as part of plans to boost EV uptake. As part of a new offer, Ford CEO Jim Farley said drivers who buy a new EV from the brand would receive a complimentary home charger,

Install the EV charging station. If you've hired an electrician, they'll complete the electrical permitting process for you. If you do the installation yourself, you'll need to submit a declaration form. You must submit this form after each phase of work is completed, or every 180 days, whichever comes first.
