Hamas has released a video featuring 19-year-old Israeli soldier Liri Albag, who has been held captive by the Palestinian group for over a year following the deadly October 7, 2023 attacks on Israel.

Hamas has published a video it claims features Liri Albag, a young Israeli hostage taken during its attack on Israel in October 2023. According to The Guardian, Albag, now 19, was captured alongside six other female conscripts at the Nahal Oz base near the Gaza border when she was 18.

The family of 19-year-old Liri Albag, who appeared in the video released by Hamas, has urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other world leaders to consider a ceasefire deal, adding that the footage has “torn their hearts to pieces.
