Thousands of passengers at Gatwick Airport are facing delays for a fourth day in a row after severe fog led to widespread disruption over the Christmas period. More than 20 flights set to leave the airport today have been cancelled in advance while passengers have been told to expect delays.

More than 1,000 flights were delayed at London Heathrow and Gatwick on Friday as fog created travel chaos for UK airports.
