Kyle Larson will again attempt to run the Indianapolis 500 and Coca-Cola 600 on the same day after rain thwarted this year's attempt.

Larson finished 18th in his first Indianapolis 500 this year, but rain at both races kept him from racing 600 miles at Charlotte in the same day.

As soon as the Indy 500 ended, Larson jetted off to North Carolina — where he was met by more rain. He ran to his car just as the race was paused for weather, and because it never resumed, he never got the chance to run the 600.
