Rams legend and broadcaster D'Marco Farr admits Matthew Stafford's back injury "could be a big deal" for Los Angeles.

Matthew Stafford’s back injury recovery is going to be put to the test. Rams coach Sean McVay told reporters Thursday that Stafford, who is battling an aggravated disk, will participate in workouts Saturday morning. The quarterback was not a part of practice on Wednesday or the Rams’ joint practice with the Saints on Thursday.

Garoppolo has started 64 NFL games, with a 43-21 record. He has thrown 96 touchdowns to 52 interceptions, and he's got a 67.4% completion percentage. All told, he spent three seasons in New England, six in San Francisco, one with the Raiders and last year with the Rams.
