NFL Draft driving demand for short-term rentals in Pittsburgh area
The draft, which will be held April 23-25, could be the biggest event Pittsburgh has ever hosted. Based on past drafts, Visit Pittsburgh estimates that 20% of visitors will choose short-term rentals for their accommodations, while the bulk will stay in hotels. Allegheny County has 19,000 hotel rooms, while the region itself has close to 35,000.
