Oak View Group CEO Tim Leiweke has been indicted on a federal criminal conspiracy charge related to allegedly rigging a bid to develop and operate the University of Texas' basketball arena in Austin.

Oak View Group CEO Tim Leiweke, whose company currently oversees Dallas’ Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center and was up until recently responsible for day-to-day operations at Fair Park, was indicted by a federal jury after being accused of rigging the bidding process for a sports arena at the University of Texas in Austin.

The U.S. Justice Department announced bid-rigging charges against the CEO of stadium developer Oak View Group on Wednesday, accusing him of colluding with a competitor on bids for an arena at the University of Texas in Austin in 2018.
