Hit Netflix show "Outer Banks," which shot parts of its fourth season in the Wilmington area, announced that its fifth season, which is currently being written, will be its last. The announcement came via a story on Tudum, a Netflix companion site.

It’s had multiple popular seasons, it’s been consistently confusing, and it’s catapulted multiple members of its cast to potential movie stardom, with Madelyn Cline starring in that Knives Out movie and Drew Starkey in the upcoming Queer.
