We now know who will be replacing the late Ray Stevenson in season two of Ahsoka. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Scottish actor Rory McCann will fill the role formerly played by Stevenson for a second season of the Star Wars series.

McCann will now be playing former Jedi Baylan Skoll following Stevenson’s death shortly after working on the first season of the show.

The first season of Ahsoka came to an end back in 2023 with plenty of questions still unanswered for Star Wars fans with a Disney+ subscription. Now, with the 2025 TV schedule getting underway, we have an answer to the mystery of whether or not the late Ray Stevenson would be recast to continue Baylan Skoll's journey in Season 2.

Ahsoka fans have applauded the “great” casting choice to replace the late Ray Stevenson in season two. Stevenson played fan-favourite character jedi Baylan Skoll in the Disney Plus series before he died in May 2023, three months before the series premiered.
