Last Friday on SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill defeated Nia Jax and Naomi in the show’s main event. After the match, the referee went to hand Stratton her WWE Women’s Title.

Stratton briefly shared a post to her Instagram stories this May that included video of her giving Jade Cargill a forearm strike during a match and knocking her off the apron.

Stratton and Cargill's exhibition contest was intense, but, upsettingly, interference from Naomi and Nia Jax stopped the marquee match in its tracks.

Tiffany Stratton is still WWE Women's Champion after defeating Nia Jax in a hard-hitting main event of "WWE SmackDown" that also saw interference by Naomi and Jade Cargill.

The first battle of the night was between Candice LeRae, Tiffany Stratton, and Jade Cargill, while the second qualifying match of the night was between Naomi, Indi Hartwell, and Blair Davenport.
