Microsoft has confirmed that the Windows 11 24H2 KB5063878 Patch Tuesday update is failing to install with 0x80240069 error. To fix the issue, a workaround has been shared.

Update KB5063878 is apparently causing error codes 0x80240069, 0x80240031, and 0x800f0922. Microsoft is aware of the problem.

Microsoft admits to problems with the Windows 11 updates in August, which are distributed via Windows Server Update Services (WSUS). A solution is in the works.
