Dec 30, 2021 · I used the xm vehicle kit in my 11 F150. It comes with the head unit, base, power cable, antenna, and accessories cable. I ran the antenna wire under the passenger floor mat and outside at the door hinge and had the magnet antenna right above the windshield.

Jun 20, 2019 · Eventually, the screen came back on. Late in the day, we stopped for gas and when we restarted the car, the Sirius app was frozen on the song that was on when we turned the truck off. No audio, but the song was in the display. Restarting the truck did nothing. I can choose any audio source (and they all work) except Sirius XM.

During this trip is the first time I played the radio several hours at a time. 3 times the satellite radio faulted when I restarted the truck after a rest stop or getting gas. If we left the truck off for about 30 minutes, the radio worked fine.

Jun 20, 2019 · Well it seems I may have a bad Sirius/XM module. I haven't had Travel Link work properly since I picked up my truck. I've had Sirius reinitialize my radio a half a dozen times and spent a couple hours with their tech people on the phone to no avail. They finally came to the conclusion that it is the Sirius/XM module in my vehicle.

Jul 2, 2022 · There really should be a volume adjustment in the settings, this happened to me once too. I was turning the volume down for the radio and the Nav just happened to come on at the same time which turned it all the way to 0. Now I'm driving around having to watch the screen for the turns instead of the road.

Aug 20, 2020 · This may or may not be possible with the factory radio. If not, you’ll want to find a replacement radio, and it’s pretty easy to find them with the SiriusXM capability built in. Car stereo manufacturers may not yet have a bolt-in replacement for the factory radio, since the Ranger is so new, but they will get there if you’re willing to wait.

May 16, 2020 · If you or anyone plans to use sirius xm you have to install the antenna, the factory setup doesn't work properly. For the factory rear camera you have to install a 12v setup and wire in your rca. Honestly if I was doing this again I would hold off a minute and get a radio that is idata compatible as their harness has alot of cool options.
