If you havent yet discovered the magic of white flowers in a garden, the Icecap™ Tree Rose will show it to you. White brightens and heightens all the other colors you grow, and binds them together too, giving unity and flow to your beds. Since this rose blooms abundantly from summer until the first hard frost, it will give you its gorgeous white blooms month after month, on a full, rounded shrub that always looks great. Each blossom is 2 inches across, packed with petals, and a striking icy white. The sturdy stem our growers placed it on raises it to a height of almost 5 feet tall by the end of the season, and it is over 3 feet wide, giving it real presence in your garden. Plant a pair on either side of a doorway, gate, or set of steps. Grow it in beds for height, beauty and the power of white to unify your planting. It is also excellent in pots, placed on a terrace, porch, patio or balcony. Discover the beauty of white, and grow this lovely rose - you wont be disappointed. - Fully double 2-inch blooms carried in abundance on a rounded bush - Pure white blooms bring beauty to any planting - continuous blooming from early summer to the first hard frost - Dark green foliage is highly resistant to major rose diseases - Winner of multiple awards for excellence in the garden Find a spot in full sun for your Icecap™ Tree Rose, as plenty of sun means plenty of blooms. It grows best in rich, well-drained but moist soil, and add compost or other organic materials when preparing the planting spot. If you are growing it in a pot, mix 3 parts potting soil with 1 part garden soil, and use liquid rose food regularly. With excellent resistance to the common rose diseases, the foliage will stay clean and healthy without any spraying, so all you need to do is dead-head as flowers fade. Prune in spring, removing weak, twiggy growth and cutting back the branches by about half, leaving a framework of sturdy stems.
