Without any major swells or relentless SE trade winds it wasn't exactly a standard September here in Bali. That's not to say it was a bad month for surfers though. We had multiple swells in the overhead range and the lighter than normal winds made for some glassy mornings. It was mixed bag in terms of wind with lots of light and variable mornings - which is exactly what we'd expect in May. There wasn't as much swell as we're used to seeing though. December's trend of small swells and gusty westerly winds continued into January. As a result, we didn't get over to Bali's west coast staples like Canggu and Batu Bolong, relying heavily on the Bukit's swell magnets and Keramas when a little more size was on offer. The middle of the month had some fun sessions in Canggu and the last few days of April had some swell and offshore winds on the Bukit. February was a decent month with lots of small to medium sized days and light morning winds. Most mornings saw clean conditions on all of Bali's swell facing coasts with a moderate SE trade wind during the afternoons.
