Today's re-mastered HD upload to the video archive is a bit special. It's a live TV performance of the "Turn That Noise Down" single from 1981, and the one and only time this song was played live - anywhere. The single itself was the first C&D track to feature a synthesizer (although not present here) as well as Dave playing slap bass. Dave talks about his memories of recording the track. Today's re-mastered clip upload clip is a TV performance of "There In Your Eyes" from August 1984. Here's another chance to see Dave's intro from the promo video of the song where he talks about their gear being stolen - including the bass guitar Dave's playing in this clip. Among the stolen gear was a banjo given to him by Eric Clapton (who recently celebrated his 80th). He never got the bass back but he did get the banjo back:).
