Congratulations to Fordham Law evening student Justin Sanchez ’29 JD, who was elected to the New York City Council this past fall and sworn into office over Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend. While juggling his first year of law school, he is bringing his passion for public service into local government, now representing District 17, which encompasses the South Bronx neighborhoods of Mott Haven, Melrose, Morrisania, Longwood, Hunts Point, Bronx River, and Crotona Park East.
