Apparently a blue Halloween pumpkin bucket indicates that the child is autistic and may not be able to say “trick or treat”, whether they are non verbal or overstimulated. Here’s a thought- why don’t we try being kind regardless of what color bucket a child has? Even if they don’t speak, they were brave enough to put on a costume and walk up to a stranger in a very overstimulated environment. I know grown adults that still struggle to order at a drive through. Stop expecting so much from kids…Le
