September 23, 1979: On this day 45 years ago, the Miami Dolphins defeated the Chicago Bears 31-16 in front of 66,011 fans at the Orange Bowl. The Dolphins were led by fullback Larry Csonka who scored 3 touchdowns. Csonka returned to the Dolphins after a 5 year absence playing in the WFL and New York Giants. He scored a career high 13 touchdowns in 1979 and was named the NFL's Comeback Player of Year. It would be his final NFL season. Special thanks to Alex Carter for sending this NFL Films video
