Genius! Saves a fortune💥‼️ Adding pot feet to your plant pots will prevent water stains and will stop your plant from drowning. Pot feet can be expensive and using recycled corks is a great and a cost-effective solution. This is very important in the colder months of the year as soggy soil leads to root rot. Pot feet will elevate your pots slightly, ensuring that the drainage holes stay clear and access water can drain freely. This is especially important during the rainy season in winter. Lift

❗️ Don’t prune them in winter‼️ By pruning plants such as Erigeron, Lavender or Hydrangeas in winter you risk frost damage. It’s best to leave them even if they look a bit hopeless and prune in Spring. *Month-by-month advice in my new book, The Money-Saving Garden Year (Link in comments below 👇) | anya_thegarden_fairy

Multiply hydrangeas to make more free plants for your garden. Do it between late summer- early autumn 💡 Select healthy, shoots of current season growth, firm and woody at the base. 💡 Cut just below a node where the leaves are growing. Remove leaves on lower third. 💡 Place your cuttings in some clear water💡 Place somewhere light, but make sure it’s out of direct sun. Most important garden task ‼️. Sometimes even gardening can make us feel anxious. It’s important to let go of perfection. There is so much beauty around us and if we fill our days with too many jobs, we can very easily overlook all the beauty. Don’t miss out! Over the years I have learned how to slow down to take it all in and to enjoy the show. There are plenty of imperfections in my life and in my garden, but that’s part of who I am. A garden isn’t a destination! For me being outdoors feels li
