Computational origami can generate some amazing things. This piece uses a crease pattern designed by @langorigami which is featured in his book Twists, Tilings, and Tessellations. We applied this crease pattern to a veneer laminate using a CO2 laser, a process also developed by Robert Lang. Robert is great. Origami is almost as great.
