This is Emerald Bay in South Lake Tahoe from 3 different locations: Inspiration Point, just off the side of the road and from the viewpoint at Emerald Bay State Park. It was very smoky sadly as the fires in Yosemite had exploded and the wind was blowing north. Regardless of the smoke as beautiful as this place is, it is not ideal for sunset viewing.
