When we bought this 1930’s farmhouse we noticed that the ceilings in the living room were low. Like 6’8” low. Like we have friends who would be just inches away from hitting their head on our living room ceiling. After searching around the house we realized the attic was HUGE… and at one point in the house’s history the roof had actually been raised. Though having a huge attic would be nice, we figured it would be more pleasing to take the attic floor out and raise and vault the living room ceil
