I didn’t realize how much this moment would mean to me. India Arie released her first album, Acoustic Soul, a few months before our eldest daughter was born back in 2001. I played that cd so much while rocking and loving on my babies. The following year she dropped another album. As time went on ,she continued to drop albums and they one-by-one, became some of the most listened to background music to us raising our family of 7 kids.
