In the wake of the government shutdown, cave tours are canceled at Mammoth Cave National Park. Other local attractions like Hidden River Cave/American Cave Museum are accommodating guests making alternate plans, as Friends of Mammoth Cave National Park is raising private donations to fund self-guided tours. | Laura Rogers

Mammoth Cave is a perfect weekend getaway with plenty of adventure around every corner. 🦇 Did you know Mammoth Cave is the longest cave system in the world?!
