Since Hurricane Maria in 2017, The Sato Project has flown over 250 displaced animals to the mainland to reunite with their families following natural disasters. It’s our #NoDogLeftBehind program and it doesn’t cost the owners a thing. Wings of Rescue and our partners The Sato Project brought Christmas early to Florida with 128 dogs coming to the mainland from Puerto Rico! We reunited 50 dogs whose families were forced to evacuate Puerto Rico without their pets - when the scheduled airlines refused to carry them. We are now on our way to Morristown New Jersey to reunite more families with their pets and deliver Christmas joy.
